Return Policy

Defective Products: Products that are found to be defective can be returned for replacement or credited toward the purchase price of another product for up to 20 days after the date of the invoice. If a product has a longer warranty period it will be indicated in the product description section on our website. All returns require Return Merchandise Authorization Number. Contact us via email, fax, mail or telephone for a Return Merchandise Authorization Number.

If you return a product by postal service, we recommend that it be shipped with tracking information and insurance. If by UPS regular ground service, no insurance is needed unless the shipment exceeds $100.00. The cost to ship the replacement product back will be paid by us.

Please test all products prior to returning them to us. Many items that have been returned to us as defective were not in fact defective. They just required new batteries. If an item is returned and found to be working, the customer will have to pay return shipping charges. All items returned must not show signs of abuse or misuse, and all parts, instructions, and accessories must be included in order to receive a full credit.

Exchanges: We will also accept products back for exchange or credit toward the purchase of another product within 20 days after the date of the invoice, subject to a 25% exchange fee. This does not apply to all products however. Certain items cannot be exchanged. For example, if an item has been discontinued we cannot take it back. Contact us prior to shipping a product back to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization Number and to make sure that the product is eligible for a credit.

Each product retuned for exchange must be in its original condition and ready to go back on the shelf. If not, a higher exchange fee will apply. This includes the product and its packaging. Make sure that there are no price stickers, residue from where stickers have been removed, or tags on an item or its packaging.

Pepper spray is a non-lethal non-toxic inflammatory agent that comes in a dispensing canister. Its active ingredient is Oleoresin Capsicum (O.C.), commonly referred to as red pepper. The percentage of pepper used and the heat rating of that pepper are measured in Scoville Heat Units (S.H.U.). If a canister of pepper spray is rated at 10% and two million S.H.U., it would have 200,000 out of nozzle Scoville Heat Units. A 17% and two million S.H.U. pepper spray would have 340,000 out of nozzle Scoville Heat Units. Thus, the higher the Scoville Heat Units, the stronger and more effective the pepper spray.

Pepper spray is dispersible from canisters in the form of a stream, fogger, or foam. The stream squirts out like a water gun to about 15 feet; the fogger scatters out a mist at a shorter distance but can affect multiple assailants; and the form spurts out like shaving crème. The foam is heavier than the stream and fogger and travels a distance greater than the fogger but less than the stream.

If you are ever confronted by an attacker while walking, jogging, or getting in or out of your car, you can successfully defend yourself with pepper spray. It will overwhelm and take the fight out of an aggressor. A one to three second burst to the face will cause temporary blindness, choking, coughing, an intense burning sensation, and a loss of balance. It will take an assailant about three to ten minutes to recover. This gives you adequate time to get to a safe area.

How To Defend Yourself With A Stun Gun Back

If you are ever confronted by an attacker while walking, jogging, or getting in or out of your car, you can successfully defend yourself with a stun gun. A stun gun is a small electrical device with two short electrodes extending from its surface. It is small enough to fit into the palm of your hands. When triggered, it generates a high voltage but little or no amperage. This is the reason it is non-lethal and unable to electrocute anyone. The amperage is what causes serious injury, not the voltage.

A stun gun will instantly immobilize an aggressor with a three to five second touch. The high voltage immediately converts blood sugar into lactic acid. This instantly depletes the aggressor's muscle energy and the aggressor is left without power to move. At the same time, the neurological impulses which directs and controls muscle movement is interrupted. The aggressor further loses balance, becomes confuse, and can no longer stand. This condition will last from five to ten minutes. You should have more than enough time to get to a safe area.

Stun guns are more effective when an aggressor is touched above the waste line to the upper shoulders. The entire body will be affected. If just an arm or leg is touched, you run the risk of just affecting that part of the body. At other times, a potential attack may be deterred by just discharging the stun gun in mid air. The electrodes produce a loud intimidating crackling sound.

It does not matter how large an aggressor is or whether or not the aggressor is under the influence of alcohol or narcotics, a stun gun will be effective. It creates an internal chemical reaction and interferes with the attacker's neurological system. This is something beyond the control of an attacker. Will and strength are irrelevant. An example would be putting an elephant under sedation. No matter how large or mighty an elephant is, a small tranquilizer dot can bring it down.

A stun gun is effective and will easily pass through clothes. As long as the battery is charged, it can be fired multiple times at multiple assailants. If a target touches you, there will be no electric shock or charge back to you. The amperage is too low to create a travelling circuit. The voltage stays between the electrodes and to the attacker. The higher the voltage rating of a stun gun, the faster it will incapacitate the target.

Crime appears to be a certainty in our culture and there is no evidence that it can be eliminated. Whether or not it has been reduced, or can be, depends on who you talk to, their motivation, or what location is being discussed. Crime is not evenly distributed. Some areas have higher crime rates than others, but crime free areas are unknown. For those who have been lucky enough to avoid it, things are good. How A Stun Gun Differs From A Taser Gun Back

Many people are of the opinion that a stun gun and taser gun are the same, and consequently, the terms are used interchangeably. Although designed for the same purpose, each uses a different method to achieve its goal. You might say that they’re similar to fraternal twins. They are genetically the same but physically different. Notwithstanding this difference however, their brains are wired to achieve the same goal.

Both the stun gun and taser are self-defense devices designed to physically incapacitate an attacker. Each does this by generating a very high voltage, low amperage electrical charge. This charge is non-lethal. It consists of high electrical pressure but only a few mili-amps. It is the amps that will do you harm. Voltage is only electrical force behind amps. It will knock you back or down, but amps will grab, hold, and burn you down. If you’ve every been shocked by an electrical appliance or outlet, it was the voltage that stung you, but the amperage on the other hand, was the thing that stood the hair up on your head. Accordingly, stun guns and tasers are manufactured to deliver high voltage but little or no amperage.

Our bodies also operate off of electricity. Electrical impulses are always circulating back and forth from and within our brain to other parts of our body. When we want to move an arm or leg, we simply mustard up mental energy and direct our brain to send electrical impulses to those areas to accomplish the deed. Our brain automatically sends impulses back and forth to our heart, lung, and other life sustaining organs. Otherwise, we would shut down.

The object of a stun gun or taser is to immobilize an attacker by disrupting the flow of electrical impulses in his body. Once the high voltage makes contact with an offender, it instantly interrupts and creates confusion and chaos with his body’s electrical system. The attacker’s brain can no longer voluntarily control and direct his electrical impulses and his muscle energy is rapidly depleted. As a result, he becomes temporarily confused, unbalanced, and immobile. This is your window of opportunity to get out of harms way. The aggressor should remain in this condition for about 15 minutes or so, depending on his physical and mental make up.

The basic difference in a stun gun and taser is the manner in which contact is made with an attacker. A stun gun has two attached electrodes. In order to deliver an electrical charge to an offender, you must be within touching distance. On the other hand, the electrodes in a taser are attached to the ends of two wires that are rapped up inside the device. When the trigger is pulled, a compressed gas cartridge shoots them out about 15 feet or so. If you aim well, the electrodes hook to the offender and allow you to deliver a shock. If you miss however, that’s it. You don’t have another shot on the spot. Before the taser can be used again, you must rewind the wires and re-load another gas cartridge. A stun gun on the other hand, has the ability to keep on firing as long as the battery is good.

How To Treat Yourself If You’re Ever Sprayed With Pepper Spray Back

Pepper spray is manufactured for a number of purposes, including riot control, but for our purpose, we will only deal with personal self-defense. The main ingredient in pepper spray is Oleoresin Capsicum (“O.C.”), also known as red pepper. This pepper contains a natural oil. In addition to this natural oil, the pepper is mixed with a water or oil based solution and compressed into a canister. The Capsicum in the pepper is what generates the heat sensation. When the mixture of Capsicum and oil makes contact with sensitive parts of your body, the oil causes it to stick and allow the Capsicum to be absorbed by nerve endings. Consequently, you feel an excruciating heat sensation.

If the solution makes contact with your face, your eyes become irritated, swell shut, and you experience temporary blindness. At the same time, your throat swells, you start coughing, it becomes difficult for you to breath, and suddenly you loose balance. Your ability to be aggressive is gone and there appears to be no relief. Hence, you are now experiencing the affects of being sprayed with pepper spray.

Except for the intense and overwhelming affects of pepper spray in real time, it might be a little easier to treat than some other peppers. Let’s say for an example, if you enjoy nice hot organic jalapeno peppers but know you should not eat them because of a sensitive stomach. And for some reason, you disregard your love one’s advice and eat them anyway. You may experience up to an intolerable burning sensation, but it’s pleasurable. The sensation may last a long time. You can deal with that. You go to bed. Still no problem. In the middle of the night however, you wake up to an intense and excruciating burning sensation in your stomach. It just won’t stop. You get up and start pacing back and forth. You keep looking at the telephone and the only number that comes to mind is 911. Your love one looks at you but says nothing. But the look says, I can’t help you. If I do, you will miss the benefits of a very valuable lesson. After tossing and turning and pacing all night, you manage to survive and recover the next day. This is the kind of lingering pain you don’t want. If there is a choice between this kind of experience and being sprayed with pepper spray, pepper spray is your best option. The affects of pepper spray can be remedied within a short time.

Thus, if you ever get a little unruly and someone has to adjust your behavior with a blast of pepper spray, make your way to some kind of soap, shampoo, or medicated cleansing wipes and rinse the affected areas thoroughly. Water by itself will not break the oil down. It will only give a feeling of relief, but the burning Capsicum oil remains in place until it wears off. This could take up to ten minutes or so. After the solution wears off or is cleansed, you should be good as new with no lingering affect.
